The Wild Thyme (Thymus polytrichus) is a species of plant in the Lamiaceae family.

This species is widespread in southern Britain, but scattered in Scotland, and not found in Ireland. Forms large clumps of pink flowers which can be seen in Summer. Inhabits a range of habitats, including shingle beaches, mountains, hedgerows and banks.
