The White-spotted Pinion is in the Red Data Book

The White-spotted Pinion (Cosmia diffinis) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family. This species is reddish-brown with various white markings. Very similar to the other Cosmia species which hold their wings in a tent-like fasion like this species. This species is generally larger and is a Red Data Book species, so is restricted to the south east. Similar to Lesser-spotted Pinion and Lunar-spotted Pinion.
