The Taylor's Spire-shell (Marsstoniopsis scholtzi) is a species of pond-snail in the Hydrobiidae family.
This small snail is only 3mm in height, and has up to 4 whorls, which have a blunt spire. This species is quite scarce in Britain, inhabiting Rivers and Canals. This species is brown, which helps in camouflage when on mud.
