The Shining Marbled (Pseudeustrotia candidula) is a moth in the Noctuidae family.

Description[]

A small macro moth, this species could easily be overlooked as a tortrix. The forewign is a silver-white, with a dark blue triangular patch from the costa. The thorax has a dark dot. Sometimes the dark triangle is brown, and a brown blotch is often near the thorax on the forewing.

Range[]

Native of central Europe, this species has one record for Britain, which although was near where plants are imported, was at a time of high immigration, so it is possible this was a genuine immigrant.
