The Scarce Footman (Eilema complana) is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is found in Europe.

The wingspan is 28–35 mm. The moth flies from June to August depending on the location. Despite it's name, it is widespread in southern Britain, though was once scarcer than it is now.
The larvae feed on Lichen and mosses, but also leaves of low growing plants on occasion.
