The Royal Mantle (Catarhoe cuculata) is a species of moth in the Geometridae family.

This species is local in Britain, inhabiting grasslands during Summer. This species feeds on Hedge and Lady's Bedstraw. This species is similar to the Ruddy Carpet in shape, but differs in colour and pattern. The first crossline near the base of the forewing is red with a thick black border. On the outer part near the leading edge of this wing, there is a brown and black patch, seperated by a thin black crossline. The base colour of the wing is white.
