The Red-headed Chestnut (Conistra erythrocephala) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family.

This species is a vagrant to Britain, which sometimes gets established. This species looks like a larger Chestnut, but can be distinguished by two or more black dots within the kidney mark. This species flies in Autumn, and re-emerges in Spring. This species feeds on oaks as well as dandilions and plantains.
