The Red-belted Clearwing (Synathedon myopaeformis) is a species of moth in the Sesiidae family.

This day-flying species is classed as Nationally Scarce B in Britain, and inhabits Gardens and woodlands in the South of Britain. This species is named for it's red "belt" on the thorax and the clear wings.
