The Purple Marbled (Eublemma ostrina) is a species of moth in the Noctuidae family.

This rare immigrant is recorded a few times each year (if any), though in years of good immigration, better numbers may appear, though they usually only occur in the south. This small moth is similar to the Small Marbled, but is larger, and, as it's name suggests, has purple marbling. The base colour of the forewing is cream-white. This species flies both day and night.
