Pholcus phalangioides is a species of spider.

Sometimes called the Daddy-long-legs Spider, this species is common in Britain, and often found in houses, sheds and caves. This species has very long and spindly legs, and a long thin cylindrial abdomen. This species will eat other spiders as well as insects which get trapped in its web. When disturbed, this species will vibrate its web rapidly.
