Notidanus serratissimus is an extinct species of cow shark.

The shark was an active nektonic carnivore.

Fossils of this species have been found in rocks dating from the Eocene to the Miocene epochs. The specimens have been found in South Africa, North Carolina in the United States and the United Kingdom.
