Megabunus diadema is a species of harvestman in the Phalangiidae family.

A small harvestman, this species has relatively short legs, the abdomen is brown-grey, with 2 white stripes running

parrallel down. The area within the white stripes is usually darker. The females have a row of spikes above the eyes.

Range & Habitat[]

Fairly widespread in England, Wales and Scotland, this species is most common in south east England, with the odd record from Wales and Scotland, but recorded as far north as Shetland. Found in a range of habitats, but notably woodlands and quarries.
