The Mediterranean Hawk-moth (Hyles nicaea) is a species of moth in the Sphingidae family.

This species is similar to the Spurge Hawkmoth, but can be identified by it larger size. This species is probably imported to Britain, as two larva were found in 1954 feeding on Toadflax. This species is native to southern Europe, and is not particaulary migratory.
