Garden Slug
The Garden Snail (Helix aspera) is a species of snail often found in gardens.
This large snail, sometimes reaching more than 4cm long, is a familar sight to gardens, and often considered a pest. This widespread species inhabits woodlands, hedgerows and gardens throughout Britain, though absent from most of Scotland.
