The Pill Woodlouse (Armadillidium vulgare) is a species of woodlouse.
This common species is easily identified by the fact that it can curl into a ball when disturbed. The Pill Woodlouse can reach a length of 12mm, and is often grey, but can be orange-brown. More common in the South than the North. This species is found under rocks and rotten wood during the day, before it comes out after dark.
