Cypress Pug - D Shenton
The Cypress Pug (Eupithecia phoenicaeta) is a species of moth in the Geometrid family.
This species is local in Britain, and was first recorded here in 1959, and is found where the Monterey Cypress grows. This species flies in August and September. Since 1959 it has spread along the South coast and slightly to the North.
