The Egyptian Grasshopper (Anacridium aegyptium) is a species of grasshopper.

This species is an extremely rare vagrant to Britain, usually found in southern Europe, but sometimes blown over by winds. Similar to the Migratory Locust, this large grasshopper reaches 65mm in length. It is mostly brown with a distinguishing striped eye and indented pronotum keel. The male is smaller than the female, reaching 35mm in length, but is similar in description. Found year round where it is common, the nymphs are broght green or orange-brown.
