The Common Mallow (Malva sylvestris) is a species of plant in the Malvaceae family.
This species is common throughout Britain, though is thought to have been introduced many years ago. This species has large purple-pink flowers, and can be seen in wastelands amd roadsides. This species can reach up to a metre in height, and the flowers are around 5cm across. Not found in northernmost Scotland.
