Chocolate-tip - D Shenton

The Chocolate-tip (Clostera curtula) is a species of moth in the Notodontidae family. This small moth is local in Britain, inhabiting woodlands and gardens in the South of Britain, becoming scarcer further North. This species is named for the chocolate-brown tip to the forewing. The rest of the forewing is grey with several silver-white crosslines.
