Freshwater Invertebrates

Invertebrates which spend part, or all, of their life in freshwater. Many species spend only their larval stages in freshwater, though some spend all of their life in freshwater, and some spend their life in both freshwater and saltwater, and others in brackish waters.

Many are aliens, as when they are introduced, they are hard to control.
