The Buff-tip (Phalera bucephala) is a species of moth in the Notodontidae family.

This species is common and widespread throughout Britain, and is often attracted to light. This species is rarely seen by day because of it's resemblance to a broken birch twig. This species inhabits woodlands and gardens from May till July.
