When the Blood-vein is active

The Blood-vein (Timandra comae) is a Geometrid moth, in the subfamily Sterrhinae. The blood-vein is quite distinctive as it has a red line crossing its creamy-buff wings.

This species is common in Britain, but mostly found in the south and central.

This species flies from May to September, and sometimes even into November.
