The Black-bellied Diving Beetle (Dytiscus semisulcatus) is a species of diving beetle in the Dytiscidae family.

This species is fairly scarce in the UK, being found in small ponds. Very similar to the Great Diving Beetle, this species is slightly smaller, and the side of the thorax and elytra are yellow, but not the rear margins of the thorax. The elytra is shiny in both males and females. The legs are black.
