The Belted Kingfisher, Megaceryle alcyon is a vagrant to the UK. [1].

Description[]

Both male and female have slate blue breast band; white belly and undertail coverts. Female has rust belly band and flanks. Juvenile resembles adult but has rust spotting in breast band [2]
