The Beautiful Plume (Amblyptilia acanthadactyla) is a species of moth in the Pterophoridae family.

Description[]

Plume moths are unusual among moths, in having very thin wings, and most species, including this species, hold them in a T-shape at rest. This species is one of the more brightly coloured plume moths, in being reddish-brown. Near the edge of the wing is a dark triangle shape, and the outer edge is white. The Brindled Plume is similar, but is darker and more mottled in appearance.
