The Autumnal Snout ( Schrankia intermedialis) is a very rare moth in the Noctuidae family.

This species is a Red Data Book species, restricted to Hamstreet and Broxbourne Woods. Abroad, this species is found in Finland, Latvia and Sweden. This small moth is similar to the other small snouts, such as the Pinion-streaked Snout and the White-line Snout. This species is now discovered to be a hybrid between Pinion-streaked abd White-line Snouts.
