This species is common in Britain, and is quite unmistakable. When resting it holds it's forwings creased. Usually olive green and pink when fresh, but fades to brown as it ages.

This species has a length of 21-25mm, and can be seen throughout the year, but most common from May-June, and then again from August-October. This species is found in a variety of habitats. This species is often seen in the day, and it is not unusual to see this species sat out in the open.
